Window No. 1 (Gothic meets grunge series)
AUD $120.00Multiple distressed layers of paint both reveal and hide an ancient Gothic window.
Inspiration has come from the medieval past. Windows are so interesting. You can look out of a them but you can also look in as well. With this magical window I wanted to capture and convey something of its mystery and great age.
Measuring 25cm x 30.5cm (10" x 12"), this mixed media art work, with finished painted sides in burnt umber, can be displayed as is on a table, or shelf. It is also ready to hang.Maximum quantity exceededMinimum purchase amount of 0 is required1 Left in StockWindow No. 1 (Gothic meets grunge series)

Incense (Gothic meets grunge series)
AUD $120.00On this gallery canvas, multiple distressed layers of acrylic paint evoke a sense of mystery around this exquisite incense burner.
I was inspired by the story of a church in the UK that had been badly flooded. Humidifiers were placed inside to dry it out. As a result, the fragrant smoke of ancient incense, that had been used in medieval times and locked into the fabric of the building, was released. The smell of a centuries old fragrance could once again be experienced.
In this mixed media collage the incense burner is exposed again; emerging from the past just like the incense it burnt.
Measuring 25cm x 30.5cm x 3.5cm (10" x 12" x 1.3" approx), this art work, with finished painted sides in burnt umber, can be displayed as is on a table, or shelf. It is also ready to hang.Maximum quantity exceededMinimum purchase amount of 0 is required1 Left in StockIncense (Gothic meets grunge series)
